PDFWalle is a browser-based document toolkit with 93+ converters and utilities. Most conversions run locally in your browser using WebAssembly, so your file never leaves your device; the few formats that need a server (CAD, legacy Office, some raster formats) are processed over an encrypted connection and deleted automatically after processing.

How a conversion works
Drop a file into the tool page, pick any options that apply (page range, quality, page size), then start the conversion. Progress runs in the page itself; when it finishes you get a download button and, where relevant, a preview of the result. Nothing is queued and no email is required.
Privacy and file handling
Client-side tools never upload your document. Server-assisted tools transfer over TLS, process the file in an isolated job, and delete both input and output within one hour. Shared links created from a result expire automatically after seven days. We do not sell data and do not train models on user files.

Reusing a document you only have as a PDF
When the original file is gone, converting the PDF back into Word or Excel is faster than retyping. PDF to Word keeps headings, lists and tables so you edit rather than rebuild, and scanned pages go through OCR first so the text is selectable instead of locked inside an image.
Getting a file under an upload limit
Portals, e-filing systems and email servers usually cap attachments at 5–25 MB. Compressing a PDF re-encodes images and strips unused fonts, and splitting lets you send only the pages that matter. Both run locally, so a confidential contract never leaves the machine to be made smaller.
Signing and sending paperwork

Where does the conversion actually run?
Most tools — image conversion, merge, split, rotate, page numbering, watermarking, greyscale, Markdown, signatures and the editor — run entirely in your browser with WebAssembly. The file is read into memory on your device and never uploaded. Formats that need a full rendering engine (Office documents, CAD, some legacy raster formats) are processed on a server over TLS.
What happens to server-assisted files?
They are processed in an isolated job and both the input and the output are deleted within one hour. Share links you create from a result expire after seven days. Files are never used to train models and are never sold or shared.
What does it cost?
Standard converters are free. Anonymous visitors get a lifetime allowance before they are asked to create an account; free accounts convert without a daily cap on standard tools. Only the flagship tools — PDF editor, signature, redaction, compare and the bank-statement normaliser — are metered at three runs a day, with unlimited use on Pro.
Is there a watermark or page limit?
No. Output files are clean, and standard conversions have no page cap. File-size limits apply to server-assisted tools only.
